Editorial Process
Peer Review Policy
Every manuscript submitted to IJVAST undergoes a structured double-blind peer review by at least two independent experts.
Review Workflow
- Submission & Screening (24–48 hrs): The editorial office checks scope, format, and similarity score.
- Reviewer Assignment: Two subject-matter experts are invited; identities are masked from both sides.
- Review (5–14 days): Reviewers evaluate originality, technical soundness, clarity, and significance.
- Editorial Decision: Accept · Minor Revision · Major Revision · Reject — communicated with detailed comments.
- Revision & Re-review: Authors respond point-by-point; revisions are re-evaluated where required.
- Production: Galley proof, DOI assignment, online publication, and certificate issuance.
Reviewer Responsibilities
- Maintain confidentiality of the manuscript and its contents.
- Declare any conflict of interest before accepting an invitation.
- Provide objective, constructive, and respectful feedback.
- Complete reviews within the agreed timeline.
