Applied sciences connect fundamental physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology to practical problems. IJVAST publishes applied science research from undergraduate and postgraduate students, research scholars and faculty.

Experimental, computational and theoretical work is welcome, provided methods are reproducible and claims are supported by data.

Applied Sciences topics we publish

  • Applied physics, materials science and nanotechnology.
  • Applied and analytical chemistry, green chemistry.
  • Applied mathematics, statistics and modelling.

  • Describe instruments, reagents and procedures in enough detail to repeat.
  • Include error bars or statistical significance where relevant.
  • Discuss your results against published values.
  • Follow ethical rules for any work with people, animals or field sites.

What IJVAST does not claim

IJVAST is not listed in UGC-CARE, Scopus or Web of Science and does not have an impact factor. We would rather you know this before you submit than after. If your university, scholarship or promotion rule requires one of those listings specifically, check with your guide or department first. For coursework, project reports, conference-style publication, skill building, placement portfolios and an early publication record, a peer-reviewed open-access journal with an ISSN and Crossref DOIs is often exactly what students need.
