Civil Engineering Journal: Publish Your Civil Paper with IJVAST

What IJVAST accepts in civil engineering, how to prepare your manuscript, and what to expect from review and publication.

Last updated:

Civil engineering research addresses real infrastructure problems: stronger concrete, safer structures, better water management and smarter transport. IJVAST publishes civil and environmental engineering papers from students, scholars and practitioners.

Laboratory tests, site studies and software analyses are all welcome, provided the method is clear and results are compared with standards.

Civil Engineering topics we publish

  • Concrete technology, alternative and waste materials.
  • Structural analysis and design (STAAD, ETABS, SAP).
  • Geotechnical engineering and soil stabilisation.
  • Transportation, traffic studies and pavement design.
  • Water resources, environmental engineering and GIS.

Tips for a strong civil manuscript

  • Refer to the relevant IS codes or international standards.
  • Give mix designs, sample counts and curing periods for lab work.
  • Present results in tables and graphs against control samples.
  • Discuss cost and practical feasibility.

What IJVAST does not claim

IJVAST is not listed in UGC-CARE, Scopus or Web of Science and does not have an impact factor. We would rather you know this before you submit than after. If your university, scholarship or promotion rule requires one of those listings specifically, check with your guide or department first. For coursework, project reports, conference-style publication, skill building, placement portfolios and an early publication record, a peer-reviewed open-access journal with an ISSN and Crossref DOIs is often exactly what students need.
